This Is The Busiest Time Of The Year!

HUMPTY DUMPTY MURAL MAGIC

How has 2014 treated you?

I’d like you to think back to where you were (and how you felt) this time last year …

Have the past 12 months gone as expected?

In your relationships …

In your business …

Or perhaps – most importantly – in your health?

It’s amazing how our health can be so easily neglected

As other commitments take center stage in our daily lives.

What’s worse is when we neglect our health; every other aspect of our life is affected!

You see, when you hit a brick wall –

When you find yourself insanely busy, stressed, and exhausted, those closest to us are the ones who suffer the most.

You tell yourself to “just keep swimming” – and you’ll make up for lost time when things finally settle down …

But it never does.

And physically, spiritually, emotionally – there’s just no way to catch up!

This Is The Busiest Time Of The Year!

I was on the phone with one of my really good friends about a month ago telling her how tired and overwhelmed I was

As you all know I am one very busy woman

I am the mother of four children.

I have a full time job as the Head Custodian of an Elementary School.

I own and operate a painting business.

And I try to write a blog almost every day.

So it is not surprising at all to imagine that I would be feeling overly tired during this time of year.

The orders for my business are coming in fast and furious,

balance rock 1

I have Christmas shopping to do.

A home to get all decorated for the Holidays.

And as is the case with all of us… lots of concerts and Christmas plays to attend.

In addition to all of this craziness, I am in a fairly new relationship with a man that I have been dating exclusively for 14 months now.

We are very much in love and plan to spend the rest of our lives together, so I am also in the early planning stages of that new chapter in my life.

I was explaining all of this to Heather and she said, “You’re going to hate me if I don’t share this with you.”

She then proceeded to tell me about this product that her sister had introduced her to.

It is called a FIT TEAM FIT STICK

FITTEAM FIT is a revolutionary blend of

organic ingredients that aids in fat loss,

boosts your energy, lifts your mood and

takes control of your appetite!

Heather offered to send me a three day supply to try for free.

When the samples arrived in the mail, I was starting to feel like I was getting the flu. I added the FIT STICK to my water and in about an hour could feel the energy boost.

The cool thing about this boost was that I was not jittery or shaky at all.

My mind just felt clear.

I had the energy I needed to complete the projects I was painting and I no longer had that tired foggy feel to my mind.

From day 1, I was hooked!

I called her and demanded that she send me a month’s supply.

Why am I telling you all this?

Because Heather was right…

I would have really hated her if she hadn’t shared this with me.

And I don’t want you to hate me for not sharing it with you!

So if you can relate to my experience at all, and would like to try a three day sample for yourself, leave your mailing information in the comment section below and I will let Heather know that you are interested in a sample too and she will get them out to you ASAP.

Why wait?

After all, it’s like they say…

How the story of Pinocchio relates to real life…

Have you ever heard of a concept know as Archimedes Principle?

In really simple terms it says that if you drop a rock into a lake, the rock will sink to the bottom.

If you drop a rubber raft, it will float.

Thats WEIRD!

How does that work?

Archimedes Principle is true every single time, no matter what.

So what does this have to do with any of us?

Let’s take a minute and think about Pinocchio.

He was a puppet who suffered from a very serious problem…

Every time he told a lie, his nose would grow.

Imagine for just a minute what life would be like for you if you shared his curse.

When someone asked you something, you would most likely pause and make sure that what you were about to say was not going to make your nose grow again.

In Galatians 6:7, We read,

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”

If you think of it, Pinocchio is the perfect illustration of that scripture. When he would lie…His nose would grow.

That scripture promise can be depended on just as strongly as we can depend on Archimedes Principle.

The consequences of our actions may not be observed as immediately as you can observe the rock sinking into the water,

but make no mistake…

Eventually you WILL reap the consequences of your actions.

This is the reason that IRRESPONSIBILITY eventually becomes someones RESPONSIBILITY is because of this principle.

It is one of God’s Laws.

He created us to be responsible creatures.

In Genesis 1:26-28, We read:

26Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Let’s take a minute and let something very important sink in to your mind here…

BEFORE God gave man the commandments, He gave him RESPONSIBILITY.

Have you ever stopped and really thought about that before?

God didn’t Give Adam rules,

He gave him Responsibility.

God knows that when we are acting responsibly, we really don’t require rules.
This principle of Reaping and sowing isn’t either good or bad, It just is.
And just like engineers have learned how to use Archimedes Principle to build great big ships that are capable of floating instead of sinking…
We too, can leverage this principle for Good things
OR
Ignore it, and suffer the consequences.

Irresponsibility creates conflict within us.

I may be successful in convincing everyone in the entire world that I am not to blame for the hardships and abuse I have suffered in my life,
that I was simply an innocent victim of unfortunate circumstances…

BUT

I will NEVER EVER be capable of fully convincing myself that I was not at least partially responsible.
Lets think about that for a minute…
Have you ever seen a person who is smiling after they have successfully shifted the blame?
They may initially appear elated, but watch them in the moments and days following their deception…
They become paranoid, depressed and full of anxiety.
We are living in the middle of a culture that is full of these kinds of people.
We have dead beat dads, bankruptcies, drug abuse, etc and all of these are the result of irresponsibility.
This world is full of people who live daily with the weight of the shame and guilt that comes from shirking your responsibilities.
They blame everyone for their failures.
But rarely ever assign any responsibility what so ever to the man in the mirror.

No human will ever reach their full potential

As long as they choose to live irresponsibly.

When you know in your heart that you got away with acting out in an irresponsible manner, and that nobody “CAUGHT” you, or held you accountable…

You may be able to fool the world,

BUT

you CANNOT fool yourself!

Lets go back to Genesis 1:26-28 again.

Before God gave us commandments, He chose to give us responsibility.

He created man to have dominion over the Earth.

That is an enormous responsibility!

We bring unspeakable pain upon ourselves when we fail to accept and then act responsibly.

When you live with the expectation that others should pay for your food, your bills, and suffer the consequences that you rightly deserve,

you will NEVER EVER become the person God created you to be.

Your potential will be lost along with your dignity.

Humans are the happiest when they have learned to manage the money that God has given them in a way that shows responsibility and maturity.

When we parent our children responsibly.

When we grow and multiply the talents he instilled in us to enhance and better this world.

When you live your life in this manner, the path to God becomes straight.

You can only hide behind laws and decrees for a short time…

because the law of reaping and sowing will eventually hold you accountable for your actions.

BUT there is hope.

There is ALWAYS HOPE!

If you have been irresponsible, and are suffering tremendous consequences, then you are carrying a burden that you need not carry.

God would love to lift it off your shoulders.

BUT…

Before He can do that YOU have to take responsibility for your life…LITERALLY!

So, today, are you going to be like Pinocchio, and lie hoping that nobody will notice your ever-growing nose…

Are you going to accept that the weight of your choices will be directly proportionate to your level of responsibility…

Are you going to leverage the law of reap and sow to your advantage…

Or are you going to choose to ignore it for another day and hope that you are the one exception to its force?

It is my prayer that we will all be more responsible with our lives, and begin to make the necessary adjustments in the areas of our lives where we have been irresponsible.

Todays Projects As Promised…

The Right, Bright side of Life.

We all create the person we become by our choices as we go through life.

In a real sense,

by the time we are adults,

we are the sum total of the choices we have made.

Each of us grows physically without any real inner struggle on our part.

Our bodies mature.

We learn to tie our shoes, and dance, and do gymnastics.

Social skills develop naturally.

We grow in our mental abilities as well:

We learn a new language,

expand our knowledge to grasp a scientific theory,

or learn a set of mathematical axioms.

This, too, is natural.

So why is it that learning emotionally for instance, seems to be almost impossible at times?

Sure, we may develop better ways of covering up the turmoil in our hearts and minds,  but we never can seem to completely outgrow our fears and angers, the same doubts and worries.

Is there a reason why we don’t?

YES!!!

I have found that unlike my physical self which, is under the mechanical laws of evolution, and just naturally realizes its eventual maturity virtually without any effort on my part whatsoever…

The development of my spiritual self is not evolutionary.

It is voluntary.

Make no mistake.

Spiritual growth requires a conscious choice and effort on our part.

It is probably the single most important choice you CAN make in your efforts to find happiness.

Genuine inner growth is the pearl of great price,

the journey of a thousand steps,

the quest of a lifetime.

Every one of us is given the opportunity to embark on this great adventure within.

We were blessed with the ultimate example in the person of Jesus Christ.

But before we can even hope to mature spiritually,

We must first and foremost recognize the necessity of it for a complete and fulfilling life.

We must fervently desire it.

Then we must be willing to go through the necessary self-shocks that this special kind of growth requires.

As I look back over my life, it was during those moments of intense, soul crushing pain that I was forced to either mature spiritually or die, that the greatest growth occured in my life.

That is why I often say, that the thing I am the most grateful for are the trials in my life.

Without them, I would not be the woman I am today.

A woman who is strong, stable, confident and capable of loving others unconditionally.

I can support my friends and not feel the need to judge their decisions, because, I know that they will survive whatever decision they make, and probably come out of this trial a stronger, better version of themselves.

Learning to develop a new self-knowledge will ultimately enable you to win in life in a new way.

No longer will you be easily lulled back into the comfort that can be found when you retreat into your old familiar reactions and beliefs.

You will DESIRE more than that.

You will want to experience growth and maturity.

And that is the ultimate gift that our Savior came to deliver to us… An example of how to learn and grow spiritually.

The ultimate Christmas Miracle can be discovered when we are facing the necessary life lessons,

And instead of running away and trying to explain the conflict to ourselves in terms of our old knowledge, we instead face it head-on and learn to conquer it boldly.

My Christmas gift to you is this:

I wish for you to KNOW that you need no longer experience defeat at your own hands.

A way out does exist,

but it begins with developing a new approach to life based faith in the Lord and a higher self-knowledge.

Sorry I have not been Writing…

I finally had five minutes to spend on my blog.

I am so sorry that I have not posted a blog for two weeks. Brenda and I have been literally swamped with Christmas Decorating orders.

I thought I would show you a few of the latest projects that we have been hired to create.

Tomorrow I will post even more.

We have 4 orders that we will be finishing tonight and I will post the Pictures when they are finished.

Here is the projects that have kept me from blogging. I hope you enjoy them.

I hope you will all forgive me for not having the time to write lately.

Between being a mom to 4 kids,

working a full time job,

and spending another 40 hrs/wk on orders,

I just simply don’t have enough hours in the day.

But I promise that I will be back to my writing as soon as I possibly can.

I miss all of the comments and interactions from my readers.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for your loyalty and support.

God Bless!
